The large bath tub overlooking the living area was the highlight, a perfect place to sip Yarra valley vino’s from Olinda Cellars and watch the fire after a delicious take away pizza from Mad Raven in Kallista. Although it’s only 100 metres to the Main Street of Sassafras from The Blackwood, you feel totally secluded and private. Would recommend breakfast at the Ripe cafe, a two minute stroll from the front door. Also enjoyed lunch and a rum tasting at Killik Distillery in Belgrave, a short drive from the house.
